Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)
is about more than just enzymes

PERTZYE® (pancrelipase) is a prescription medicine used to treat people who can’t digest food normally because their pancreas does not make enough enzymes due to cystic fibrosis.

PERTZYE offers a wide range of dosing strengths and delivery options that may meet your needs

PERTZYE has 4 different dosing strengths and is additionally FDA-approved for gastrostomy tube (G-tube) administration for contents of the 4,000 USP lipase units capsule. Your doctor will prescribe your PERTZYE dose based on your age, body weight, and diet. It’s important that you work with your doctor to make sure the dose you’re taking is appropriate for you. Why the PERTZYE formulation may be important for you

Enzymes that come from your pancreas are needed to digest food so that several nutrients can be absorbed by your body. What you may not know is that another substance that comes from the pancreas, called bicarbonate, is also needed to help these enzymes work efficiently to digest food. Each capsule of PERTZYE contains both enzymes and bicarbonate to help you better digest food. Learn more about the formulation of PERTZYE
